A couple weeks ago, I met up with Christine and Jay to photograph their big day! You might recall seeing these glowing faces from their "e-shoot" we did a while back. These two are really awesome to work with... totally laid back, and completely in love... the best combination for a wedding day! I work with Christine at Sweet Home, so it definitely makes the day even more enjoyable to see people you know on a personal level get married. It was Africa hot... no joke, the heat index was around 100 degrees and the whole wedding party was just amazing, willing to do whatever we needed. While I was out visiting my in-laws at their "camp" on the lake (we call it a lake house in WNY, but for some reason the other side of the state calls them camps), I met up with my husband's cousin Matt to do his senior photos. This guy is just awesome; honestly, he is the kind of teenager you hope to have someday. I've known Matt for almost 8 years now, and I still can't believe that he is going into his senior year already! We stayed right at the camp for the whole shoot and even got some with his car that he and his dad fixed up... pretty sweet ride for a 16 year old! Sure beats the crap out of my first car that my dad and I fixed up... my grandma's good ole' 1985 oldsmobile calais. Anyways, here are a few of my favorites from the day... enjoy!

A few days ago, I met up with a friend of mine from high school. Now that her family has expanded, she wanted to have the entire family with her for some formal and casual family photos. If you haven't done this in a while, would highly recommend that everyone do this at some point soon... don't wait. I wish that my family had done this prior to my grandmother's passing so that I could have photos with my husband included. Plus, rocking out the late 80's early 90's neon clothing and high hair photos from Olan Mills isn't exactly what I had in mind for my wall. Anyways, we headed to some shaded locations in an attempt to stay cool in this 90 degree insane heat. Here are some of the more candid photos from the day... enjoy!

A couple weeks ago, I met up with Kristin and Jason on a perfect Buffalo summer day. Kristin not only shares my name, but also my love for all things rustic. We headed to the same location that I had my own wedding photos taken and my hubby Rob even came to help me out! These two were so great to work with... totally up for hiking through the farm and going into the fields all dressed up! It was so hard to narrow this down to my absolute favorites so this is a pretty long post... enjoy!!
